The Brief —
Clarke Energy had a reception space which wasn’t being used to its full potential. They came to Diamond wondering how to enliven the space, to make it more usable and to create a warm, welcoming reception for visitors. The brief was to remain on brand but to soften any corporate styling, with a nod towards the work Clarke Energy are doing to improve sustainability and the environmental aspects of their work.
The Result —
The result is a fresh, welcoming reception space. The Isomi desk made of hot rolled steel ties in with Clarke Energy’s core business and is a focal point of the space. The additional settings provided mean the space can be used for informal meetings or as a quick touch down workspace for staff. Comfortable lounge seating creates a high-end waiting space for visitors and is also perfect for a coffee meeting or catch up with a colleague. By using natural materials such as wood veneer and preserved moss, we have avoided the space having a hard corporate feel and these features also help to zone each of the areas.
