After a successful three years since Diamond refurbished Beyond’s offices in Castlefield, the team had outgrown the office space and Beyond Commercial Law were ready to move to a much larger premises. The relocation to a property in a converted brick mill in the Castlefield area of Manchester was more suited to a vastly increased workforce as well as providing needed additional space for a client suite.
The Brief —
Beyond Commercial Law wanted to elevate both colleague facilities and client facing areas. With double the number of people utilising the workspace compared to the existing office, there was an increased need for flexible workspaces to allow for the variety of in-person meetings and digital meetings and both needed to be considered as part of the redesign.
Beyond have a great company culture and wanted a dedicated break out zone where colleagues could eat away from their desk, catch up over coffee and socialise after hours. They also aspired to have an events space where they could host clients which needed to maintain a professional feel through day and night.
The Result —
The result is an elevated and extended version of the ‘Beyond style’ Diamond Interiors curated in 2020. Brand colours were used for feature elements to tie in with the graphics and wall signage and complement the monochromatic colour scheme, whilst including plants and moss/planted walls softens the industrial features of mill building.
With increased desk numbers and a number of flexible workspaces including acoustic treated digital meeting rooms to enable soundproofed spaces, collaborative working and training space, large break area, a full-service client meeting suite and special events area, the new office provides an impressive new home for Beyond Commercial Law.
