The team is headed by Nick Pollitt the Managing Director who has over 20 years industry experience.
The team at Diamond encompasses professionals with a wide range of skills and expertise to ensure that your project runs smoothly from inception to completion.

Nick Pollitt MD

Managing Director

I’m Nick and I’m the owner and MD of Diamond Interiors.  I’ve been in the furniture industry for more than 20 years.   It might not be an industry that people dream of joining when they’re at junior school, but I can honestly say, I’ve enjoyed every minute and there’s never a dull moment.

My passion, above everything else, is seeing the look on my clients’ faces when we hand over a successful project.  Ensuring that my customers are happy, giving them value for money and the best possible customer experience is what motivates me.   We are fortunate to be working in a design-led industry where now more than ever before, businesses are much more receptive to creating a workplace which inspires their staff, attracts the best talent and most importantly of all, enables their business to work flexibly and efficiently.

Away from work, I love spending time with my wife and two boys.  Although they’ve turned my hair grey, they keep me young and active, joining in with their various sporting activities.   On the rare occasions we can find someone to look after the boys, Lisa and I enjoy a nice meal at a good restaurant, with great wine.

Kevin Gordon

General Manager

I have been with the company for 14 years and I’m the General Manager. Basically, this means I try to juggle a lot of balls at once! In a former life I was an insurance guru! My favourite colour at the moment is grey and my all time favourite book is the Senator Price List!! I love the job because it is so varied and every day is different..there’s no déjà vu here!

Out of work I’m married to Helen and we have 2 children Andrew and Lexie. I love going on long walks, watching my son play football, being an armchair Manchester United fan and attempting to exercise to The Body Coach at home… but not necessarily in that order! I’m also partial to a good beer and a nice glass of red wine.

Kevin Gordon

General Manager

I’m the Operations Manager at Diamond – I’ve worked here since 1998. I’m married with three children, one cat an one gecko. My first love is Warrington Wolves (The Wire!!!!) then my wife, my children and the cat is definitely last.

I’m a bit of an armchair supporter for Liverpool FC and I enjoy watching rugby, working, watching rugby, drinking, rugby and sleeping (i wish!).

My USP is a sound understanding of both Fitout & Furniture and confident I can add value to Diamond and clients moving forwards with my industry experience I have gained and growing the brand throughout the UK

My work with clients starts with a strategic brief. I use this to build a comprehensive understanding of a project and ensure the Design I deliver is consistent with the aspirations of the client and the culture of our organisation. Whether designing for a private individual or large team, we deliver projects that have a high level of detail and clear, engaging concept. As well as a complete understanding of how design can be used to create remarkable spaces.

On weekends I can be found browsing antique stores, fabric outlets, and thrift shops around North West, I appreciate a good cup a Herbal tea, and the ability to give back to the planet by Recycling and being Vegan.

Sue Thornley

Customer Services Administrator

I’m Sue – I joined the team in April 2018, and I’ve been in the office furniture industry for nearly 20 yrs. My specialist subject is Senator, although other brands are available.

My passion is my family, and I love spending time with my husband, 2 sons, and most of all, my 2 grandaughters.  My husband has recently retired, and I am not at all bitter about that!  I work  to enable us to fund his active lifestyle of golf, and sailing trips., but when I get home from work,  I am of course treated like a “lady of leisure” and am waited on hand and foot by him… or maybe that was just a pipe dream?

I love holidays, especially visiting my son who lives in the Greek Islands. My hobbies are cooking and walking, and I also try to keep in shape..well, round is a shape isn’t it?

I’m Catherine, I joined Diamond Interiors in July 2018 and work within the Business Development Team, I love that every day is different here and meeting new people.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and little boy, trips to the Lakes, long walks and shopping!

Alex Duckworth

Apprentice

Hi, I’m Alex, a 20 year old apprentice here at Diamond since March 2018. So far I’m enjoying it here and have learned with still so much more to learn, as well as meeting the rest of the team at Diamond who are great.

In my free time I go on days out with my family, play pool, darts and go for the odd night out with some friends. Most of the time I like to catch up on TV shows as long as I am not falling asleep half way through them  – which seems to be the case recently.
