THE BRIEF

Salford Primary Care Together approached us with regards to the procurement of the furniture, medical couches and equipment for the new state of the art two storey, purpose built £4.6m health and wellbeing centre in Little Hulton adjacent to the existing medical practice.  The new practice is to house 4 local GP practices as well as podiatry, speech and language therapy, and diabetes clinics along with a smoking cessation service and mental health services, which will serve around 13,000 patients in the vicinity.

THE APPROACH

We were provided with room data sheets by the client detailing the equipment and furniture that was required in each room.  As a result, we provided a detailed quote and supporting design before meeting with the client to refine the requirements and finishes.

THE RESULT

The installation took one week.  Furniture was provided for all areas throughout the building including, beam seats in the waiting area, breakout furniture for the staff room, the furniture for the offices and storage for the medical records.  We also supplied, medical equipment for the clinical and treatment rooms including medical couches, medical fridges, trollies, clinical bins, blood pressure monitors, scales and height measures to name but a few.

The practices have all now moved into the new building and are very happy with the end result.
