THE BRIEF

Diamond Interiors have been working with Electricity North West for a number of years.

The electricity giants owns, operates and maintains the North West’s electricity distribution networking connecting 2.4 million properties and more than 5 million people in the region to the National Grid covering a diverse range of terrain from isolated farms to heavy industrial and urban populations.

Their accommodation team is involved in numerous projects across the North West at all of the 14 sites they own or lease.

Their aim is to provide a better, more efficient working environment for their workforce.

ENWL have been improving all of their sites and Whitebirk Depot, a major training facility for the electricity giants, has recently undertaken a facelift of which Diamond Interiors were tasked to complete.

OUR APPROACH

The building before was run down and it needed to bring a more efficient, clean place to work. The staff that now occupy the new offices are either working under the Commercial or Operational sector within the business.

The Diamond Team opted to install bench desking solutions for mainly open plan office areas on two floors to accommodate approximately 130 staff.

In addition to the open plan office space Diamond interiors provided five meeting areas of various sizes, an executive office and a dining / breakout area completed the project.

THE RESULT

The Diamond Interiors team turned to furniture provided by Senator and added a significant storage solution which was provided using various Silverline tambour storage units.
