Head quartered in Bolton and with offices in Crewe and Telford the company is continuing to grow and expand. ao.com needed an office space in Manchester that could house its digital teams including; multimedia, IT and Sales teams. They opted for six floors in Baskerville House opposite Salford City Tower in the Spinningfields area of the city.
The Brief —
The design work for this project was undertaken by OBI Property Ltd and Diamond Interiors supplied all the loose furniture requirements.
The project was to be completed in 5 phases and undertaken as the floors became ready for occupation. The floors were designed to have an urban look and feel with features such as exposed concrete columns and defurb fit out.
The Result —
The project design reflected the various departments including Sales and IT functions and in total houses approximately 380 staff. It included executive suites, meeting rooms, reception area, dining and tea points including a Starbucks restaurant on the ground floor as well as lots of collaborative spaces throughout the building.
